Fernbus Simulator - Air Brake Control Module

Module Overview

Our ecosystem has three types of air brake modules. They differ in design and craftsmanship, with slightly different operation methods, but share the same function — simulating parking brake control:

1. Air Brake H Version - Base and bottom cover use an aluminum alloy CNC process.
2. Air Brake M Version - Base and bottom cover use a high-precision 3D printing process.
3. Air Brake Q Version - Bottom cover uses a high-precision 3D printing process.

Module Overview

Connection Method

1. Air Brake H, M, and Q versions all use RJ11 connectors
2. Air brake modules can connect to V8 series control boxes: V8D-Q, V8DF, V8H, V8M, V8J
3. The air brake module is not compatible with the V8i control box

Usage Instructions

To use the air brake, select "Use Air Brake" in the driver's parking device settings

• Pull up the handle - Lock the parking brake, vehicle stops
• Q version valve: lift the handle ring - Unlock the parking brake, vehicle can move
• M version valve: pull the handle head firmly to release it from the slot - Unlock the parking brake, vehicle can move
• H version valve: pull the handle head firmly to release it from the slot - Unlock the parking brake, vehicle can move

Shortcut Binding

The parking brake needs to be bound to the game's handbrake shortcut to sync. Please refer to the game's default hotkey settings — check the in-game keybinding menu for the exact key.

Troubleshooting

Q Air brake status not syncing
A Check whether the game settings use the default parking brake shortcut, and whether the EliteDrive driver recognizes the device
Q Handle not responding
A Check that the ribbon cable is firmly connected, and try reconnecting the control box's USB cable
